Our Story
Grace House is a Non-Profit Organization that begins with a simple belief: no woman is defined by her past.
We know that this lifestyle can be heavy and the feeling of being tired of the struggle—when every effort to change seems to end in disappointment, when shame whispers that a better life is out of reach.
The founders of Grace House understands this and it hurts in their hearts. They dreamed of a place where women could lay down their burdens, find healing, and discover that their story is far from over.
In 2025 that dream took shape in Grand Lake, New Brunswick, inside a bright, two-story building that could hum with hope. We are creating Grace House not as a shelter from the world, but as a place to be rebuilt for it. With Grace House, recovery means more than breaking free from addiction; it means learning to live whole—mind, body, and spirit.
When you walk through our doors you’ll find more than programs—you’ll find people who believe in you. Our staff and volunteers will greet you with respect and compassion. You’ll share meals with women who understand your journey. You’ll meet counsellors and mentors who will listen without judgment and help you uncover strengths you may have forgotten you had.
Grace House is a Christ-centered program, but we welcome women from every background. We invite you to discover that you are loved, valued, and capable of a new beginning. Through counselling, life-skills classes, and real-world work experiences—like helping in our Greenhouse and Country Store—you’ll gain the confidence and practical skills to build a future that excites you.
Your time here isn’t just about what you leave behind; it’s about what you gain: stable footing, lifelong friendships, and a vision for the life you were created to live. And when you graduate, you won’t walk out alone. Our aftercare program and alumni network will stand beside you as you continue your journey.
